Skills utilised depend upon the project, but typically include; ideation workshops, concept generation, form studies, simple visualisation, and initial prototypes.

Next, we will iterate, refine and detail our work—incrementally increasing fidelity as we progress through the phase. Methods of refinement come in all shapes and sizes but typically include; design development, initial engineering, high-quality visualisation, colour, material and finish (CMF) development, functional mock-ups, appearance models and component sourcing. Carefully curating tasks allows us to create a holistic solution that concentrates on pragmatic considerations, such as implementation or manufacturability.

During this leg of the process, steps may include manufacturing specifications, Design for Manufacture (DfM), Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
